“World’s Finest” RHD 1989 Porsche Speedster in Historics 24th November Classic Car Auction

Historics 24^th November Classic Car Auction at Mercedes Benz World, Brooklands offers a 1989 Porsche 930 Speedster, plus 13 other Porsches.

Described as the “finest available” this genuine RHD 911/930 Speedster was built by Porsche AG in Germany in July 1989 to C26 South African specification with the optional wide Turbo style body and delivered to His Royal Highness Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei. Well known as one of the greatest car collectors in the world and a man famous for having only the very best. It is one of just 139 right-hand drive 930 Speedsters built. Having covered just 900 kilometres from new it was subsequently purchased by an Englishman in 2010, recommissioned by Northway Porsche and subsequently entered into the Fica Frio Collection. In 2011 the car was registered in the UK. The present owner purchased the car in 2016 and it has been dry stored by DK Engineering ever since, whilst covering a mere 300 kilometres since 2011. The lineage of ownership is chronicled in the history file, with all servicing records documented in the original service book together with all invoices and manuals/booklets pertaining to this spectacular sports car. This is a stunning and rare Porsche in its original colour scheme and interior with impeccable heritage and virtually delivery mileage (of 1,091 kilometres). It is estimated at £195,000 to £225,000.
