Six Ferraris 1958-2004 in Historics 22nd September Auction

With still a month to go, there are already six fantastic Ferraris entered in Historics Classic Car Auction at Brooklands Museum on Saturday 22nd September.

The outstanding 1958 Ferrari 250GT Coupe in the main photo was originally registered in Switzerland and comes with a near complete history file. A matching numbers car it was fully restored at great expense in 2010 by Peter Rosenmayer Sport and Race Cars in Stuttgart. Since arriving in Britain in 2012 it has been driven a mere 200 miles and even comes with its original near priceless Ferrari tool kit. It is estimated at £420,000 to £460,000.

Ferrari 365 GTB4 BB 1975 Historics

The next oldest Ferrari is a fabulous 1975 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer with right hand drive, one of only 58 built. It was delivered to UK importer, Maranello Concessionaires, in January 1975 and according to the copies of the build sheets from Maranello Concessionaires Archive, chassis 18259 is finished in its original colour scheme of Azzuro blue with a Nero hide interior and the engine number matches the factory records; the body number ‘253’ located on the rear engine cover, front bonnet and door handles also match factory records. The original purchase price of this 4,392-recorded mile car was £9,765. The estimate is £240,000 to £280,000.

Ferrari 412 Auto 1987 Historics

The 1987 Ferrari 412 automatic is one of 61 supplied with right hand drive and had covered 73,864 miles. This car has covered only 1,000 miles since 2011 and underwent complete engine and body renovation in 2015 by Ferrari Specialist Keys Motorsport Silverstone Ltd. It comes with a full file of the restoration and a new MoT. Estimated at £45,000 to £50,000.

Ferrari 550 Maranello 1998 Historics

Ferrari 550 Maranellos are now much coveted and this 1998 RHD example has only 23,694 miles recorded. It was originally supplied by Graypaul in Loughborough on 12th September 1998 and has a full Ferrari main dealer service history with 13 stamps in the book. Prior to the auction the car will be serviced by Dick Lovett in Swindon, to include replacing the cambelts. It is one of 457 RHD 550s built, comes with original service books and toolkit and is estimated at £95,000 to £110,000.

Ferrari 575M F1 2002 Historics

The 2002 575M F1 was successor to the 550 Maranello, now with an F1 dual clutch transmission to cope with gearchanges to match its acceleration. This RHD car has covered  only 17,000 miles since new and is fitted with the very desirable Fiorano handling pack. Its leather bound service book is fully stamped and its last service was at 16,670 miles by Meriden Modena Ltd. It is estimated at £95,000 to £105,000.

Ferrari 360 Modena F1 2004 Historics

Finally, this LHD 2004 Ferrari 360 F1 has only 22,000 miles recorded. First registered in June 2004 to a German owner in Hamburg it is believed to have never been driven in the wet. Fearuring Grigio Titanio paint. Its leather bound tool kit is complete and the owners pack contains all the original books. It was imported to the UK by its fastidious owner in 2016, serviced by Radley Motors and underwent a recent cambelt change. It is estimated at £52,000 to £64,000.
