Mk1 Ford Fiesta offered for ‘no reserve’ at September sale
A 1979 Ford Fiesta 1300S is going under the hammer. The car is part of Classic Car Auctions’ September Sale at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on Saturday, 23 September. And it’s offered without reserve.
With just 5693 miles on the clock, the car has been in storage for 11 years and could make a good first-time project for an enthusiast. Finished in gold with ‘1300S’ decals, the car has a brown cloth interior. The electrics and 1299cc Kent engine are said to be in good order –
Richard Greenhalgh, CCA classic car specialist, said, ‘Buying a classic car doesn’t have to be eye-wateringly expensive and this Fiesta will make for a fun project, as well as being great fun to drive.’
Other ‘No Reserve’ cars available on the day include a two owner 1989 BMW E30 325I SE, a well-presented 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk2, and a 1970 MG Midget entry-level racer.
