Low-mileage Audi Quattro for sale
A low-mileage Audi Quattro Turbo is going under the hammer. The car is part of Classic Car Auctions’ September sale. It could fetch as much as £40,000 at the auction, which will be held at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on 23 September.
With 32,233 miles on the clock, the 1991 20-valve example is an original, UK supplied car in right-hand drive with two former owners in addition to the current vendor.
This example is finished in Tornado Red and comes from 13 years of private ownership. It is listed as being pristine both inside and out. It comes with an MoT certificate until July 2018.
As one of the later Quattro models, the 20-valve features a three-spoke steering wheel, as well as leather-covered door arm rests, gloveboxes, centre console, and door pockets. It is also fitted with partial leather seats with 'quattro' script upholstery. This car also retains its original radio cassette player.

Richard Greenhalgh, CCA classic car specialist said, ‘These last-of-the-line Quattros are by far the best to drive, and by some margin are the quickest of all. They're also worth the most and have a great motorsport heritage.
‘Finding an original 20-valve Quattro is hard enough in the current marketplace, but finding one with low mileage is a truly special proposition. With world rally winning pedigree and a growing cult status, the demand for low-mileage Quattros is surely going to increase for many years to come.’
With outstanding four-wheel drive, the Quattro become a 1980s rally icon. This 20-valve model boasts a 200bhp five-cylinder turbocharged engine that’s capable of hitting 60mph from standstill in 7.1 seconds before going on to a 140mph stop speed.
