Ex-Top Gear BMW M3 to go under the hammer in June
A BMW M3 that featured in television series Top Gear is for sale at auction.
The car, a 1996 E36 Evo featured in series 15 of the show, and will go under the hammer on 6 June at the CCA sale.
Driven by Richard Hammond and The Stig, the BMW was featured as part of the sports saloon challenge, which was filmed in Germany in 2010.
The car took part in a high speed test on an autobahn, took a drive around the Berlin, plus a hot lap of the EuroSpeedway, Lausitz.

With an excellent interior, 79,100 miles on the clock, a fault-free engine and fully working electrics, the car could fetch up to £10,500.
It’s just one of 10 BMWs at the sale, including a BMW E36 B3 3.2 Alpina Touring, E46 330 CI SE, E60 M5, E34 M5 3.8, and E34 M5 Touring.
Other highlights from the lot list include a 1971 TVR Vixen, a 1962 Triumph TR4, and a 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Evo.
Guy Lees-Milne, general manager of CCA, said, ‘It is really exciting to be selling a car that has appeared on such a world renowned TV show.
