1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT Makes £248,640 at Historics Classic Car Auction

Full auction results show that Historics once again proves it’s up there with the best when it comes to getting top money for top class investment classics.

£248,640 including commission for a 1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT.

£209,440 for a 1966 Ferrari 330GT SII 2+2.

£133,280 for a 1953 OSCA MT4 sports racer.

£117,600 for a 1952 Porsche 356 coupe.

£94,080 for a restored 1967 Mercedes 250SL.

£44,800 for a 1963 Alfa 101 Series 1600 Spider.

£43,680 for each of two 1955 Austin Healey 100/4s.

£30,250 for a 1972 Alfa Giulietta Zagato.

And a surprising £30,250 for a 1964 AEC Routemaster London bus.

Obviously, not everything sold and not everything reached its reserve. But that’s always going to happen. It depends on which buyers are after which cars on the day, and whether or not the vendors have overestimated them.

But today’s big results shows that Historics does as well as any of the other auction houses, as well as providing a friendly, enjoyable, and a long auction.
