Preview: Anglia Classic car auction, King's Lynn, 22 June

And now for something completely different - an ex-British Telecom Dodge Spacevan is up for sale at this weekend's (22 June) Anglia Classic Auctions sale in King's Lynn. Estimated at £4500-6500, this once common piece of street furniture is a very interesting addition to the lot list.

It was fully restored seven years ago to its bright yellow and blue North London-based specification. This 1981 model has the rear-mounted ladder that gives access to the heavy-duty roof rack, and comes with a comprehensive spares package, which is included in the sale.

Other notables on sale include a 1974 VW Devon Eurovette camper. ACA’s fully-equipped and beautifully-presented unmodified example has covered 61,000-miles from new and is said to be one of the most original ACA has ever seen, inside and out. With just three owners from new, this bay window four-berth model comes with the original sale brochure and is estimated to fetch a selling price of £15,000-18,000.
