How you rate the manufacturer

Smart, unflashy, economical.

We’re delighted with our Kamiq. Lot’s of good points. The economy is as good - if not better - than stated. Over 50 mpg driving London to Scotland and back twice - a mixture of urban, suburban and motorway. 46.3mpg so far total but edging up. The 115 engine has enough oomph to get round things for all but boy racers. And if you’re too worried about that this isn’tthe car for you. The infotainment system, inc CarPlay, feels solid and has been glitch free so far. It really does feel roomy especially in the back. The interior is nicely styled. The 400l boot is big enough - but then this isn’t a huge car and we didn’t want a car as big as a Karoq. The lane safety control is annoying but you can turn it off and it may not be Skoda’s fault - it’s now mandated to get top safety rating. All in all, we’re very satisfied. As cheap to insure as our previous 10 year old Ford Focus , too.
