I bought my 406 2.0 hdi SE estate for £700 2 years ago as a running example that needed fully servicing , once that was completed at 152000 miles the is a pleasure to drive still returning 50 mpg . These cars are a true find as the ride running costs handling and size have never been surpassed , it has been used for long journeys , moving equipment and has never let me down , if you can find one buy it !
