Very nice car to drive

I bought this from a main dealer, but they hadn't checked it properly before handing it over.

The air conditioning sensor in the mirror housing didn't work properly so, during the hottest of summers, it was blowing hot air unless reset to coldest. As this is a known fault it should have been checked. The new unit which was fitted was minus the handy sunglasses pocket.

The heated seat on driver's side didn't work. Again it should have been checked before handover.

All in all the car had to go back four times. Twice to look at faults and twice to fix them. Covered by MB's used one year warranty, but irritating.

Also irritating were the add on costs of things like traffic info on the sat nav, smartphone integration etc. Like other reviewers I would like to have default eco drive mode.

I'm not too happy to be minus a spare wheel and will keep my fingers crossed.

Main dealer servicing very expensive so I took it to my local garage which had serviced my previous Merc. Less than half the price. As the man there said, its only a Renault engine.
