Best 40 quid I ever spent
Mine was reliable and by far the best car for DIY maintenance I've had, though it was rather heavy on fuel, returning about 30mpg from memory.
I ran it for 4 years until an especially picky MOT coinciding with a Masters Thesis deadline and Stazi-style neighbours shopping me for an expired tax disk meant it had to go.
Didn't like the Niva I replaced it with so much. More rot traps, no starting handle and timing belt rather than chain= Western Decadence
