Bargain.

I really don't want to write this as it will give away my secret car and the prices will rise.
Don't read any further if you want a:
a hot hatch.
you can impress your mates with the make, Audi, BMW etc.
a maker that other people know.
a BMW, Porsche, Audi,VW, or any of the other rip off brands.

Carry on reading if you want a great everyday car at a very reasonable price, that does everything plus more a normal household wants.

Back in 2014 one of my sons sold his MX5 and due to baby demands he was looking for a new car. He came up with a Dacia Sandero,(saying he would rather spend his money on buying a house than on a depreciating car) I'd heard about them but that was it (James May). Anyway he bought the 1.2 Ambiance brand new for £6,500. Move forward to 2020 he still has it, it has covered 38K miles trouble free and he now lives in a nice house.
I was so impressed that I bought one as a second car, in 2017 march it was the 0.9 Laureate, faster than the 1.2, with gadgets you find in top range cars, Satnav, parking sensors, Air con, Drivers seat height adjustment, cruise control, road tax £30 etc.etc. On the road with a 5 year warranty £8,500. Move forward to 2020 the car has covered 19K miles totally trouble free, I am so impressed with the car I will be looking to change it for the latest model next year, and then keep it for 10 years.
My other son has purchased a similar model but with leather seats(for £500 extra) in September 2017, he too has had no problems and loves the car. and a friend of mine after travelling in mine bought the stepway, over the road as also bought one. So please don't tell anyone else as the prices will rise and instead of me driving round with a smile at the money I have saved other drivers will be doing the same. SSSHHHHH.
Fuel consumption isn't great I'm averaging 42mpg. but the car is a runaround going to the shops, post office etc. etc. Hopefully it would improve on a run. The car is surprisingly nippy for a 900cc engine but it does produce 90 bhp with the turbo.( same engine as fitted to the Clio).
A tip:: buy the top of the range models. The stepway and logan are great too.
Don't expect a Rolls Royce car for Dacia money.
