Built to last, a sheep in wolfs clothing.

Always liked the look of these audis, dipped in and out of ebay after a couple of years looking i put a bid in and won my ragussa green coupe, had to travel 200 miles to Gloucestershire with a one way train ticket, the car had been described by the dealer as mint with two previous owners and indeed it was, checking service history shows car supplied by dealer three miles from my home location.
The first five years of the cars life had only averaged 1500 miles per year!
even now twenty years later stands at 52k. Had originally intended to use as a daily driver but has turned out to be a garage queen in winter months.
some issues have been intermitant non start (dry joint in a relay) air bag light on through battery voltage drop, both of these sorted cheaply with help from Audifans.net forum and a cheap handheld re-set tool.
My audi being the 2.0 8v only produces 115bhp so is no rocket ship but once up to speed will stay at 80mph all day, they have a liking for suspension bushes as these are a heavy car. Looking forward to future values will they ever be sought after possibly not but if you like the classic lines and old skool audi build quality you won't go far wrong.
