Are vehicles like cherry pickers MoT exempt?

I'm buying a cherry picker, which is built on an IVECO Daily body? Are these MoT exempt?

Vehicles like cherry pickers are no longer MoT exempt so will require a valid certificate. The law changed in May 2018 so that all Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) mounted on a HGV-based chassis with a Gross Vehicle Weight up to 44 tonnes are required to undertake road worthiness inspections at an approved MoT inspection site.
