Value, quality, space and reliability - the Skoda Octavia
Having purchased this car new from Faintree Garage, Bridgnorth (now Faintree Skoda, Telford) I have enjoyed 137,500 trouble free miles to date (March 2013). The car has been reliable, comfortable and economical, averaging 42 mpg from the 1600 cc petrol engine.
The bodywork remains rust-free, and a few minor problems have been repaired promptly by Faintree Skoda, where all servicing and repairs are undertaken.
This my 6th Skoda, having started with the much (wrongly) maligned rear-engined Czechoslovakian made cars in the late 1980s.
