Vastly Under-rated and Comfortable Mile Muncher
I bought this car in 2001 for £350 because I needed something cheap and roadworthy. The lacquer on the bodywork had failed in places (mainly the bonnet) but the interior blew me away. It was, without doubt, the most comfortable car I had ever driven, had leather seats and even leather door cappings. Just about everything was electric; the carpets were thick and of top quality and the stereo had 6 speakers with a console-mounted graphic equaliser. Mine was the 2 litre, so performance was adequate but no more. Load space, especially with the back seat down is colossal. A sagging roof lining let it down a bit but the car was reliable, though not cheap to run.
