Great car to drive but prone to rust

I bought this car from a friend who's father bought this 2nd hand in 1979. It had been laid up in a garage for 13 years. Great car, well designed with lots of modern items that Ford Escort owners could only dream of, I should know, I had an Escort mk 2. back in the day which was archaic compared to the Fiat which was 7 years older. Great to drive with superb road holding and faster than the 1.3 Escort. Only issue was rust and some minor electrical problems. A truly great car
