Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

Bought exactly 2 years ago as I write this review. A well looked after car with 136,000 miles on the clock. An absolute joy to drive, sure footed, comfortable, so much feedback and enough power not to make it insane but to put a smile on your face when you unleash the sound of the V8!

The cooling system is the main issue for E39's as they get older. Mostly made of plastic so it gets brittle and cracks. Had a new radiator, water pump, expansion tank, and pipe over the two years.

Just passed it's last MOT a few weeks ago, no advisories, pretty good for a 14 year old car. Feels like it has so much life left in it. I will be very sad if I ever had to let it go.
