Overall reliability

Fabulous and rewarding motoring for people with deep pockets.

I bought my car from a UK BMW Dealer, has covered 230,000 miles (200,000 in my ownership) and been BMW Main Dealer maintained from new. At the next Inspection 2, the Gearbox oil will be changed for the 4th time on the advice of "Honest John".
The car is not cheap to maintain and anyone thinking otherwise will be very disappointed. It has let me down once, when the Exhaust Cam Sensor failed. Regular use puts around 35,000 miles per year on this wonderful machine, mainly on business, at around 29 miles per gallon. Constant motorway use consumes 38 miles per gallon.
The car's leather interior is like new and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Only catastrophic mechanical failure or insurance write off will part us.
