Have the Audi A4 Multitronic's problems been sorted for the new B8 model?

I am about to order a new Audi A4. I am keen to go automatic and for the 2.0 diesel with the Multitronic gearbox. I have read a few horror stories of older Multitronics, but most of these seem to date back to four- or five-year-old cars. I won't be doing much more than 30,000 in mine and it will be the newest B8 chassis (where most of the problems I have read seem to relate to B6 or B7 chassis). Does anyone know if the problems discussed with the older Multitronics are sorted now? The main one that concerns me is the reported take-off lag which some people describe as "up to 10 seconds".

The latest seven-plate clutch Multitronic is much better and in the B8 it even provides retardation while descending steep hills. Anything that has come up is in car-by-car breakdown on this site.
