Which tyres are best for the Toyota RAV4?

I want to replace both front tyres on my Toyota RAV4 (2009 model) with Bridgestone Dueller 235/55/18. These tyres I am told by my local Bridgestone dealer are unavailable and are on back order. Which alternative Bridgestones are also unavailable? Can you help me get front tyres which are compatible with my rears (which are hardly worn)? Either that, or get Bridgestone to extract a digit or two.

On a vehicle with any form of automatically engaged AWD system it's crucial that all four tyres match in size, tread pattern and wear. So you should have swapped rear and front (same side) every 5000 miles or so to even out the wear. Now, the best advice is to replace all four. Michelin doesn't do Cross Climates that size yet, but Nokian does do Weatherproof all season tyres in 235/55 R18 1-4 V XL. www.norfictyres.com
