New motorbike has broken down - Is the dealer liable?

I bought a motorbike three weeks ago. Since then I've discovered that the rear shock has lost damping and the clutch will not go into neutral when the engine is warm. I have adjusted the clutch to the recommended settings. Should the dealer be liable for fixing this?

Correct. Dealer remains liable for any fault that was present or that could have been developing on the date of sale for 6 months from the date of sale: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
