Buying a Ford Grand C-MAX - which engine is best?

I am thinking about buying a new Ford Grand C-MAX. The dealer says the new 1.1 engine is powerful enough to carry a full load with seven adults and luggage. Is this correct? It seems like a rather small engine to power such a large car.

It's a 1.0 litre engine, not a 1.1 and it has not been successful in the Mondeo. I've driven it in the Tourneo Connect, which is the same sort of size as the Grand C Max, and, while it's okay around town, it simply isn't up to hauling seven people and their luggage for long distances.
