VW Emmissions - Engine recall

You latest newsletter states that the recall to amend software for those EA189 vehicles affected by the 'cheat device' is for engines manufactured between 2012 - 15. However, I have an Audi A4 2.0 TDI Quattro registered in Mar 2011 that is affected. Is this an error in your report or information provided by VAG?

That is a first stage of the rectification because only older models such as the pre-2015 Passat, the Tiguan and the pre 2015 Touran retained the EA189 from 2012 to 2015. Everything else has been EA288 from late 2012. Rectification of the earlier EA189 engined cars from 2008-2012 will come later.
