Is it normal for Ford Focus TDCi air conditioning units to drip water?

My 2008 Ford Focus TDCi's air conditioning unit releases water when the engine stops. As far as I can tell the air con unit is generally working fine. Is this normal?

Yes, it's condensation that would be evaporated using a steel evaporation saucer on top of the compressor in a fridge, but you can't do that in a car so it just drips to the ground.
