I want to replace my Audi with something quieter - what do you recommend?

I've owned three Audis and am now looking to replace my A3 Sportback Sport with something that will still give me some driving enjoyment, but with a much quieter ride. Can I stick with Audi (I'm considering the A4 or A5) or should I look at other makes? My budget is around £25,000 and the car should be no smaller than an A3 and no bigger than an A5.

The new Mazda 6 Skyactiv is astonishingly quiet and features the very latest technology, far in advance of anything Audi is producing. Our road test is here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/mazda/mazda-6-2013...t
