Lots of motorway miles - what car?
I start a new job this summer which will see me doing up to 30000 miles on business. My new employer isn't providing a car, but will pay me a mileage allowance.
The mileage is beyond what I want to put on my current vehicle, so what is the most effective way of providing a car capable of this mileage? Leasing, new, used? Or should I hold out and see if the company will offer to lease a vehicle for me?

About half an hour ago I recommended a Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Econetic to another reader needing to travel 40k miles a year. There will inevitably be problems, but they are fewer and cheaper to fix on a Ford.
