Toyota RAV4 diesel pump - has it died?
I have a 2005 Toyota RAV4 diesel with 57,000 miles on the clock. It was running fine, but now won't start. We've been told that it's probably the diesel fuel pump.
Is this a common fault, and is replacement horrendously expensive? Also, is there a way of repairing or reconditioning?

Depends which diesel pump: the tank lifter pump or the fuel injection pump.
