Do red paints used on cars from 2009 still suffer from paint-fade?

Do red paints used on cars from say 2009, still suffer from fade over time, as seen on many old cars? If yes, what's the best treatment to prevent fade?

Solid red has usually been clearcoated since around 1998, but, like you, I have seen red cars where the clearcoat lacquer has peeled off than the paint has turned matt pink. If you don't want solid red to fade, then wax (don't polish) the car regularly and keep it out of the sun.
