Wet plugs on a Focus

I have a problem of liquid getting into the spark plug chamber of my 2005 1.6 Ford Focus petrol hatch, and wondered how to stop this. An RAC operative said that he thought that the HT leads might be too long, which I cannot see myself.

Standard problem of the model. It leaks from the screenwash tubes and if the car is not driven far enough to get hot enough to evaporate it off then you get the problem.
