A warning light for the coolant temperature on my SEAT Leon mark 1 1.4 petrol often comes on when starting the engine. It will then stay on throughout the journey regardless of length but the temperature does not rise above 90°C. On a couple of occasions the temperature has dropped down to 60°C whilst driving then risen back to 90. I have checked the coolant level and all is in order. What could be the problem?
