Selling a car

I am intending to sell my Lexus IS with integral SatNav, Sun Roof, (one of the last sold before the new model, so loaded with extras). WhatCar estimates £4,500? I have stroked the nearside front wing against the side of the garage - no panel damage and liveable with. Is it worth having the paintwork resprayed before sale?

2. You recently recommended a firm which will give fair prices for second hand cars; I have lost the reference. Would you please remind me.

Minor Damage Repairs: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/damage/ You misinterpreted the recommendation which was for www.sure-sell.info . This the the cleanest and safest way to dispose of a car but does not necessarily get you the best price. To get the best price you have to take a lot of risks and gamble, and may end up with less money in the end or your car stolen.
