What should I have paid?

I have just bought based a Mercedes E Coupe 250 CDI 125 at the quoted list price £38855. I inspected similar models in the showroom but the car I purchased was not available for viewing. I was told that a 125 model was available which would have a free Sat Nav. The car is fine but does not have LED daytime running lights.

On questioning the Dealer I am told that the car was imported in November of last year. My questions are - Does my model have the 7 speed auto gearbox or are there any other differences between the 2011 and 2012 models and most importantly, please, what was the price of this 125 model in December last year?

Glass's Guide December 2011 says "E250 CDI Blue Efficiency (S/S) SE Edition 125 Coupe £35,060, or Sport Edition £37,095. (These prices exclude first year VED.) LED DRLs were standard as part of the Adaptive Main Beam Assist which was optional on the SE and standard on the Sport. The price disparity could easily be accounted for by other extras fitted to your particular car.
