Golden for oldies

My parents, both 89, want to replace their 56 plate Honda Jazz that they have never enjoyed driving (nor me). The brakes are over assisted and the throttle seems to have a lag on it. They want a new, manual four-door petrol car, probably about the size of a Citroen C1 or FIAT Panda. With their tiny mileage fuel consumption is irrelevant, the main thing is it should be nice to drive. Can you recommend a short list please?

They might like a Vauxhall Agila or a Suzuki Splash. Both the 1.0 3 cylinder and 1.2 litre 4-cylinder engines are now under 121g/km so £30 tax. The cars have upright driving positions. And an excellent quick folding rear seat arrangement that leaves a flat floor.
