Can you recommend a short wheelbase car with good ground clearance?

I currently drive a 2005 Toyota Avensis which I now find is too large. I am looking for a shorter wheelbase car which also stands higher off the ground because I need to be able to get in and out more easily (I am 74 years old) and I want to avoid scraping the underside of the car on steep and uneven driveways which I have to negotiate occasionally. What would you recommend? Budget up to £25,000.

Possibly a Toyota Urban Cruiser 1.4 D-4D, a Nissan Juke, a Suzuki SX4 or a MINI Countryman.
