Sandwich curse

In David Williams recent article there were several examples of people being prosecuted for 'Not being in control of their car' due to eating in their car, blowing their nose, etc., etc. Has anyone ever been prosecuted for smoking in their car? I still find it hard to believe that there is no legislation covering this.

I could not agree more with the point you are making. How can taking a paper cylinder of tobacco out of a packet, putting it into your mouth, bringing either a naked flame or a red hot coil to it, creating acrid fumes that get into your eyes, then having to dispose of ash and the occasional red hot ember be less dangerous than eating, drinking or using a mobile phone in a car? That said Health and Safety laws make it illegal for anyone to smoke in a company car because of the danger to other passengers of passively inhaling the cigarette smoke.
