Car will not rev up

I have a Peugeot 807 2.2HDi on an 04 plate. It will not rev up properly. The turbo is good, pdf is good, car starts first time and ticks over fine but when you try and drive away the power is not there until you creep up to 1700rpm.

The garage has taken turbo off, cleaned it up and put back in, undone the pdf but problems still exists.

All the readings on the computer are ok, all of the pipes and breathers are ok.

The garage now think the cam belt may have jumped a tooth or two, could this be a reason?

They are a garage with over 25 years behind them and they are starting to run out of ideas.

Can you suggest anything? Car is used as a taxi and has 220,000 miles on the clock. It has been serviced when it should be, has been running up and down to heathrow three to four times a week on a regular basis.

Well you seem to have tried quite a few things, i am not sure what you mean by "undone the pdf".
What i would suggest is that (if not already done) check the air filter (when last changed) .Also check the MAF sensor as they tend to degrade with age and if faulty give symptons similar to what you are describing.
Other areas that if faulty give similar problems to that described are.
1.faulty EGR valve
2.Pressure converter switches either for the EGR valve or Turbo
3.Lambda/oxygen sensors
4.crankcase breather valve
5.fuel pressure sensor
