My car won't fit in my garage, can I return it?

I just bought a Jaguar E-Pace from a dealer and it won’t fit in my garage, have I got any right to return the car?

If you bought the car online or remotely (without ever visiting the showroom) then you may have grounds to reject the car under the 14 day 'cooling-off' period as stipulated under the distance selling regulations.

If you visited the dealership to test drive and purchase the vehicle then you will not have the automatic right to reject the car. But the dealer may take a sympathetic view and offer to refund you or swap the vehicle for something else.
