What is a fair usage deduction from a dealer?

If I reject a new vehicle two years old due to major manufacturing faults that have been repaired but failed again immediately, how do you decide what is a reasonable deduction from the purchase price for the use in the two years under the Consumer Rights Act?

Dealers typically use the HMRC business rate of 45p per mile but this might not be reasonable, depending on how many miles you have done during the two years, and you could argue for a lower rate.
