I've just taken delivery of my new Hyundai i30 1.6CRDi and it has SIX gears. Please pass on the good news Hyundai website, as it makes this car an even better buy. My i30 the first new car I have had, chosen after reading your comments and via the scrappage scheme. I have also become aware that not all insurers do as Saga, which is offer two years' new car replacement if stolen or written-off: an important consideration when insuring a new car.

It's an improvement for 2010 model year. The new KIA cee'd diesel has the same 6-speed transmission.
