Surpricing
I live within a half mile of Fawley refinery yet have to pay between 2 and 3 pence per litre MORE for petrol or diesel at nearby filling stations than the good burghers of Salisbury, some 25 miles further away from Fawley. Can you explain please?

Price competition. Nothing to do with what the stuff costs and the taxes on it. Everything to do with local supply and demand.
