Certifiable

Could you remind people to check the details on their motor insurance certificates. For some years my wife has had 2 policies with Churchill in her name with me as a named driver. Up until now the details have been correct. The latest certificates incorrectly stated that only I was insured to drive the cars. When I told Churchill they quickly sent out correctly worded certificates and I acknowledge it was a simple mistake on their part. Whilst we have both been claim and points free for over 25 years, you never know, so what would have happened if I had not noticed the mistake and my wife had needed to make a claim?

A very valid point. Will do. These days none of us must ever assume anything. Also important to check your car is recorded as insured on the Motor Insurers Database by visiting www.askmid.co.uk
