Skoda and Volkswagen told us officially that they plan no further action because the issue has been fixed. We hadn't received reports of issues for a while - however, we've recently had a number of reports from readers (mostly about the Skoda Karoq 1.5-litre) about ongoing issues. With that in mind, it doesn't seem like the issue is completely sorted.

I was led to believe the kangarooing problem in 1.5-litre Volkswagen Group engines had been fixed. My Skoda Karoq 1.5-litre still stutters in first gear. It's a one-month-old car. What now?
