Can we use our VED exemption on another vehicle?

My wife got free car tax when she got PIP when she had her private car. She now has a car on the Mobility scheme. Can we use her entitlement for free road tax on our other car that she has use of?

The VED (car tax) exemption your wife receives because of her Personal Independence Payment entitlement can only be used on one vehicle. Her car on the Motability scheme is VED exempt so you will not be able to claim the exemption on the other vehicle. It is important to note that when you claim the exemption on a vehicle, that vehicle can only be used for the disabled person's benefit.
