Is a Peugeot 306 Cabriolet 1.8 S worth keeping as a future classic?

Is a 2002 Peugeot 306 Cabriolet 1.8 S worth keeping as a future classic? I have some reservations about spare windscreen/hood weatherstrips and mine has a couple of minor issues with the fabric folding/glue joint on the frame.

Very much so. But keep it because you enjoy it and you like it - not because it's an investment that you're looking to make money on. Any car will need money spending on it and plenty of TLC on its way to becoming a classic.
