Car Insurance Renewal Shock!
Just got my insurance renewal through from Zurich Connect. Last year I paid £283.48, this year they want £1,158.40. No changes to policy and no claims in the past 12 months. A rise of over 300%. I called them to ask why and the lad in the call centre told me that basically they don't want me as a customer anymore. Nothing I've done, but I live in Manchester and there's been some problem up here with crooks deliberately crashing into people - so they are trying to avoid insuring people in the North West. Thought it might spark your interest.

That's interesting. Have forwarded to the letters page. I thought the cops had nailed those crooks. Was a BBC Show: 'Cars, Cops amd Criminals'. The guy behind it had all his goodies confiscated and got 5 years.
