roof bars for 2009 vw polo e

I bought a brand new Polo last year with factory fitted roof bars. The roof bars leak in torrential rain, the dealership is looking into this and have taken 12 months so far, VW are involved but not much help - have you heard of other people with the same problem?

No, that's a new one. Are you referring to the current Polo or the previous model Polo? The bars must be bolted on using captive bolts, but there are no seals around the mounts or the seals have broken. Hardly difficult to put right.
