RETURN TO WORK AT CAR FACTORY

Production at Fisher and Ludlow, the British Motor Corporation car body factory in Birmingham, returned to normal yesterday as 140 internal transport workers ended their unofficial strike.

The stoppage, in protest against the two- day suspension of a colleague, begin last Thursday. Within 24 hours, 7,000 workers at the factory, 1,100 at the Austin factory in Birmingham. and 150 at Morris Motors, Cowley, had been sent home. They all resumed work yesterday.
