More changes at British Leyland

Mr Frank Tilston, managing director of the body and assembly division of Austin-Morris, has been given a senior appointment within British Leyland. He is to be director of manufacturing plans. Mr Derek Whittaker, Leyland finance controller, is to take charge of the body and assembly operations.
Mr George King, director of manufacturing for the truck and bus division of Leyland, becomes director, of manufacturing controls and like Mr Tilston will work under Mr Bill Davis, Leyland's newly appointed director of manufacturing. These appointments follow the recent changes in Leyland's management structure.
