Car Delivery Men Go Back

COVENTRY. Oct. 7
The three-day-old strike by 300 Coventry car delivery drivers which threatened production at the city's three main factories-Rootes, Jaguar, and Standard- Triumph International-is over.
At a special meeting today the car delivery men and women agreed to return to work tomorrow. Members of the Transport and General Workers' Union, they had been protesting over the collection of cars in Coventry for delivery to all parts of the country by firms which had no agreement on pay and conditions with their union.
